One of the most successful Windows Phone is an entry level phone Nokia Lumia 520. Using Windows Phone 8, the Lumia 520 has a very good performance compared to other mobile platforms in a similar price range. It is not surprising then released the Nokia Lumia 530, now use the latest Windows Phone 8.1 platform. Judging from the terms of the specification is not much change, more details of this main spec.

Impression Design, Materials and ScreenWith a 4-inch screen, the Lumia 530 is now including the tiny cell phone. However, the phone feels thick, reaching 11,7mm. Impression when holding its own quite fit in the palm of the hand, thanks to the back of the curve, but a bit slippery. The reason is the glossy plastic material used is dirty with fingerprints or oil and sweat. Like the Lumia 520, the phone can easily replace the back cover, there is a choice of black, white, green and orange. The battery can be replaced (removable). Lumia 530 has not been seen as a Windows mobile phone, for WP 8.1 no longer requires capacitive buttons (capacitive home button before the form is the Windows Phone logo) so that the front of the net, there are only a cell phone and the screen logo.
Lumia 530 screen is not much different from an entry level phone in general. The level of contrast and color will change significantly if the viewpoint narrows. Colors that appear less unsightly. Overall we feel the quality of the Lumia 520 screen slightly better than the Lumia 530. Keep in mind, for an entry level phone brands great quality was sometimes worse than the Lumia 530. If you feel there is less, there is a display of temperature settings (White Balance) of bluish to yellowish (warm) and the saturation level setting screen.
InterfaceUsing the Windows Phone operating system, you can guess what kind of display interface. Due to the limitations given Microsoft then any brand of your handset, for walking on the Windows Phone operating system will be the same zoom. If youve ever seen WP 8.1 platform, it looks like it. In terms of the interface of the most striking changes compared to WP 8 is the presence of the Notification Center, lockscreen and background image can be customized. This customization can be done through the application including modification function. Windows Phone 8.1 also provides customization options for the background tile in the Start screen.
Notification Center is activated by rolled (like on an Android device) has four quick shortcut (Quick Action): Wifi, Bluetooth, camera and screen brightness level. By default like that, but you can replace with a few others such as the Quick Action Rotation Lock, Internet Sharing, Location and so on. Unfortunately most that can be added four Quick Action only. You can set the Notification Center can be accessed from the Lock Screen.
No longer need the capacitive touch buttons, WP 8.1 now has the Navigation Bar at the bottom of the screen, such as the back, Home and Search. When touching this button will be a subtle vibration feedback. Background color on the Navigation Bar can be changed to be equated with the background color and the accent color used.
Regarding the accent colors, as usual there are two kinds of backgrounds: dark and light, as well as a variety of accent colors that accompany it (cyan, blue, green, red and so on) can be adjusted to your taste. What is new is now you can use the background image Tile application (background remains black or white). One again, Tile size can be smaller, so that the screen can display more Tile. But because the Lumia 530 includes a small screen, Tile will look very small.
Slide Live Tile to the left will display a long list kebawa applications installed by alphabetical order. To facilitate the search application there is a search button and a shortcut alphabet if the number of applications reached 45 pieces. Meanwhile, Lock Screen can be added to the image as the background, and display artist for the song currently playing, as well as displaying notifications and QuickStatus of some selected applications. To view the Recent Apps, hold down the Back button.
For typing, phones with 4-inch screen is quite friendly even if you use one hand. There are a variety of standard features such as suggestion, autocorrect, emoticons, and features Swipe to type by sweeping keyboards. In terms of overall performance, as well as other Windows Phone devices, the Lumia 530 though an entry level phone, but the performance is very smooth, both when scrolling, transitions and so on.
cameraLumia 530 is equipped with a 5 megapixel resolution camera that is unfortunately not equipped with autofocus and LED flash. The front camera is also not presented in this entry level phone. But at that price range, the resolution is presented fairly compete with smartphones in its class. While on the face of the phone there is no front camera. There are two camera apps are included, namely Camera (default WP 8.1) and Nokia Camera (default Nokia). The difference, Camera more fun and intended for everyday use, while Nokia Camera is more professional. Nokia Camera has a shutter speed settings, ISO, manual focus, white balance and EV level. While the camera has a mode dial Scenes (closeup, night, sports, backlight), burst mode, and ISO settings, White Balance and aspect ratios. While the maximum video resolution is only WVGA only has settings for white balance only.
The camera is not amazing, especially the absence of autofocus quite felt the impact, for example if you want to take pictures of documents from close range. But considering this is an entry level phone, we can not expect much. While the results were less than satisfactory video recording, although fortunately reaching its framerate makes movement in the video 30fps feels smooth.
MultimediaTo display an image, the application used is Photos. Here the whole picture that is divided by time, and can be seen from all photos, albums, or who fall into the category of favorites. Photos can be edited using the editing application is simple and can be shared via Bluetooth to an Android phone and WP, but Bluetooth must be turned on first, if it is not turned on, the option to share via Bluetooth will not appear.
For a video player, this time using the WP 8.1 dedicated video player. Subtitling can be displayed, with a variety of settings fonts, background colors, but unfortunately for video formats that can be played only .mp4 alone. And thats not HD resolution 1280x720 pixels rotated smoothly, a lot of lag. Video is best suited only to a resolution FWVGA only (845x480 pixels).
As for the music, a collection of songs that are divided by artist, album, song, genre, playlists and radio. The song along with Album Art presented as good. In the Settings menu (separately) in the Equalizer and Enhancement. For sound quality alone loudspeaker including a strong, but somewhat shrill. Using a headset is better, of course.
BrowserAs with the desktop version of Windows, any Windows Phone devices equipped with Internet Explorer. This browser has a variety of standard features such as Favorites, Find on Page, share page, pin to start, and the setting of cookies, history and so forth. When we open the page TeknoUp.com browser can display pages properly and quickly, rendering is also quite fast.

ConclusionAs an entry level phone, the Nokia Lumia 530 offers very good performance. But on the other hand there are some things that we think less okay, lets say the screen quality and the quality of the material. But overall, we can say that the Lumia 530 is a phone WP 8.1 entry-level class that is sweet and charming with a powerful performance. If you really want to try WP 8.1 with support for dual-SIM, the handset is very worthy to be selected. Moreover, the current Windows Phone ecosystem has begun to develop, with the presence of popular applications that have been awaited as Path, Instagram and BlackBerry Messenger.
