Impression Materials and Design, Screen Quality.
Korean duo should most phones, G Pro Lite is made of glossy plastic material. Flanks adorned with a thin silvery list on the side and thickened at the top. The phone is lighter and slimmer than its nearest competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8, although the natural thing to remember G Pro Lite screen is slightly smaller. When held in one hand operations can still be performed even though not as easy as the smartphone operating under 5 inches. To be sure the back is slightly curved to offer a pretty good ergonomic level.

5.5 inch screen really meet the face of the LG G Pro Lite. Its use is really the maximum, resulting in a very thin bezel side, like on the LG G Pro and LG G2. But very unfortunate no LED notification light sensor and 5.5 inch in phablet. 1.3 MP front camera and earpiece at the top of the screen, while at the bottom of the screen there are four touch-sensitive buttons: back, home, menu and button dual SIM settings. On the left side of the phone there is a button Quick Button, which by default is to access QuickMemo, but you can switch to another application shortcut that is in G Pro Lite. Under the Quick Button no volume adjustment buttons. Lock button is on the right side of the phone, while at the bottom there is a dual loudspeaker and micro USB port. At the top there is a 3.5mm audio jack and the stylus tip is not so sharp / pointy. The back cover is made of plastic can be opened, there is no micro SD slot and two normal size SIM card slot. 3140mAh battery that brought its own G Pro Lite is removable.

IPS screen LG Display embedded into G Pro Lite qualified enough, even though the resolution is only 960x540 pixels (qHD). In the area of ??5.5-inch screen, the resolution is only generates density of 200 ppi screen only. However, the quality of the color, brightness, contrast, saturation balanced enough to make the screen G Pro Lite does not look bad, when compared to its competitors. The angle of vision was nearly perfect, as well as performance in the sun. In fact, practically G Pro Lite screen quality more or less the same as the relative Optimus G Pro, only to lose in any resolution.

Default Interface and Features
Bears the name G Pro, many features of the phablet brought to G Pro Lite. In fact there are some features of the LG flagship current, which is applied in the G G2 Pro Lite. For example:
  • Quick Memo which allows the creation of small notes on any screen in the LG G Pro Lite without requiring the user to access a separate application. This is an ever-present feature in the LG phone is a great sail. You can directly strike the screen is being displayed, then save it.
  • Qslide: an application that allows mobile phone screen displays up to 3 apps at once (an application that runs full screen and two mini-applications). The amount of space for each application can be changed, so did the level of transparency (overlay functions), no bar to adjust the level of transparency in each application Qslide. Not all applications can use this feature, just the default application that is Video, Internet, Memos, Calendar and Calculator.
  • QuickTranslator that will transform the smartphone into a digital dictionary with the ability to translate words and phrases directly from images taken by the camera. Of writings to be translated should be fairly obvious.
  • Knockon, making the user can activate the LG G Pro Lite on the screen is turned off, enough with two gentle tapping on the screen. However, the level of sensitivity of the G Pro Lite was not as a G2 in response to two beats us.
  • Guest Mode: There are times when your cell phone is borrowed by friends or family. If there is something which you do not want to be seen by them, you can use this feature Guest Mode. So the phone will use the lockscreen Pattern models, but there are two Pattern that can be stored. Pattern only for your own (everything is open as usual) Pattern specific to one borrower. Then you can choose which applications are allowed to be seen, which again should not be seen by the borrower. The entire application on the phone can be put in the list of applications that should / should not be seen.

Of the overall interface itself is no fundamental difference between G Pro Lite and other Android smartphone from LG. The use of letters SmartGothic (there are several other fonts to choose from), background settings menu with white, and other. Feel 5.5 inch screen G Pro Lite too big? In the settings menu there are several things you can adjust, such as adjust the position of the dial keypad, the LG keyboard and lock screen to the left or right. The use of the overall interface itself is fairly straightforward and intutitif, with a mediocre performance. Because it is not always smooth, sometimes it happens a bit of lag, though not overly intrusive.

Lockscreen has no choice other effects, in addition to the course can be added shortcuts and widgets. While Homescreen have a maximum of 7 pages, which can add shortcuts, widgets and wallpapers. The main menu is divided into three categories, Apps, Downloads and Widgets, and can be sorted by alphabet and the download date. The icons of apps that is arranged in a 5x6 icon, size can be enlarged up to be a 4x5 icon. Wallpaper from the main menu and the home screen can be made different. In the notification bar there are some fairly quick setting (can be set order), shortcuts to Qslide, as well as the brightness bar setting.

Input to write two methods ie Google voice typing and LG Keyboard. Existing arrangements between auto-capitalize, auto-punctuation, word suggestions and feedback touch. There are features Keyboard Path, less like Swype, by swiping a finger to the letters to form a word. Feel 5.5 inch screen on the G Pro Lite complicate the use or rather typing with one hand? LG minimize this, to make some arrangements to use one-handed operation of the phone. Primarily for the dialpad, keyboard and screen lock (to shift the pin). The keyboard will be shifted to the desired direction with a swipe to the left or right of the keyboard. In the settings menu there is also a keyboard LG Split Keyboard feature, which will divide the keyboard into two when used in landscape mode. With this feature, typing one hand so a bit easier, though still not as comfortable on the phone that smaller sail.

Camera
LG G Pro Lite is equipped with 8MP main camera and is equipped with LED flash. With the camera interface is simple and easy to use, this is the picture-taking modes that exist in the G Pro Lite:

LG G Pro Lite Reviews

Conclusion:
Judging from the price, the LG G Pro Lite is very head-to-head with the Galaxy Mega 5.8. G Pro Lite has individual strengths and weaknesses compared to its rivals. G Pro Lite screen is smaller, but the screen quality is more superior than the Galaxy Mega. Battery life G Pro Lite outperformed its rivals, no wonder because its capacity is very large, 3140mAh. For although the use of performance does not vary much with its rivals, there are several Android phones with better performance and screen already HD720p in the same price range, both normal sized like the Sony Xperia SP (Krait dual-core, 4.6-inch HD720p display, the price of Rp. 3.8 million), as well as others such as the Acer Liquid phablet S1 (quadcore MediaTek, 5.7-inch HD720p display, Rp. 3.9 million) and the Lenovo S920 (Mediatek quad-core, 5.3-inch HD720p display, Rp. 2.9 million). LG G Flex Reviews

LG G Flex Reviews

Technological developments are increasingly realizing what was once just a delusion . Last October , two South Korean vendors , Samsung and LG , respectively launched a series of curved screen mobile . We got a chance to do a review for the LG G Flex ( LG - D598 ) , an Android 4.2.2 smartphone size 6 inch curved sail which also carries the latest spec in the kitchen spur , call 800 Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset , 2GB RAM and 13MP camera . Of course not only the kitchen runway that are the hallmark of this smartphone , but exotic curved body . Not only exotic , but also flexible body , making squeezing durability will be better than cell phones in general . Intrigued with the overall performance of a premium smartphone exotic Indonesian who immediately went into this ?

Impression Design and Materials

Actually, with a 6 -inch screen belonging to the G Flex , this smartphone is enough to invite attention because the body is great . Plus a curved shape , then get ready you will be the center of attention . Google had released the first ever Samsung Galaxy Nexus is curved body ( not the screen ) , but the curvature of the G Flex is much more visible than the Nexus .

Overall the LG G Flex has a shape similar to the LG G2 , a very reasonable thing . Bezel or frame on the bottom side and G2 are not slim , but that does not mean making it look fat phablet . Although no steel touches such as G2 , but it color and premium materials more memorable than G2 because the back is given a touch of the brush with a pattern that is more presentable .

LG G Flex has a unibody design , the back cover can not be opened , so the battery is not removable automatic , and the SIM card slot on the left side , can be opened with a SIM ejector , safety pin or needle if there is no SIM ejector . LG also inherit unique Flex G2 to G , the lock and volume buttons are located on the back . If you first use it you may be confused , but after a long time you will feel comfortable even familiar with the key. The lock button also serves as a marker notification LED lights , LED bulbs though a smaller notification is also present at the front , at the top of the screen . Micro USB port and audio jack on the LG G Flex is not closed .

Despite its size has been classified as a giant with a 6 -inch screen , but the G Flex can still pocket dikantungi in materials that are not tight . Precisely because the body arch , part of the phone wedged in your pants a little , though still you have to be careful when sitting with the phone situation is in your pants . The large size also does not sacrifice comfort , because LG G Flex fixed thanks to the body ergonomically curved and the sides are not rigid . G Flex curved body is somewhat flexible ( see video ) , but still not as flexible as many had expected , considering it one of the first mobile product with this technology . Rear body claimed self-healing , so it seems you will not need a protector .

screen
Unquestionable , flexible OLED screen is the main selling G Flex . Flexible display is indeed one future direction smartphone technology and gadgets ( especially wearable gadgets such as watches , for example ) , although its use has not been felt significantly, because it is still early stage .

Flex OLED display at G character is not too over- saturated like the Super AMOLED on some Samsung Galaxy devices . His character is like a mix AMOLED and IPS , which is widely used type of display device is LG . Contrast levels remain high , with the absolute black OLED display properly in general . Bluish white color is not like the Super AMOLED , especially with no over- saturation , so the color is quite natural , there is still a Natural screen mode . There was also the Vivid mode if you want the colors are sharper .

The disadvantage of this is the LG G Flex screen has a resolution of only 1280x720 pixels , given the large screen size ( 6 inches ) , so the pixel density of just 245 ppi , still under the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 ( 1080p 5.7 inch , 386 ppi ) and Sony Xperia Z ultra (6.44 -inch , 1080p , 342 ppi ) . Luckily G Flex uses three RGB sub - pixels , not two subpixels on the Super AMOLED , so that the sharpness of the display is maintained.

interface

As a whole is almost the same as the G2 , with just a few cosmetic changes only. There are two Themes that can be selected , Flex and LG . Flex course is exclusive to the G Flex interface , there are differences in accent colors , icons , lock screen effects and so on . While the LG interface makes exactly the same interface with the G2 . To wake Knock On screen there is a feature , simply tap the screen display in a state of death . To turn off the screen also simply tap the screen twice , could be in the area of ??the notification bar can also be in an empty area on the homescreen . Other options to turn off and wake the screen is to press the lock button on the back of the phone .

Lock screen look very attractive and spoil your eyes as G Flex users . Lock Swing effects , so if you move the phone vertically so Lockscreen screen will also move to follow your movements . It still added some effects that can be used when unlock screen . Lockscreen weather animation effects can be added , if the weather is rainy lockscreen then the screen will be filled with dew . Not only beautiful and attractive , the lock screen also has many uses , can bring a certain application shortcuts as well as proprietary information .

The screen can be a maximum of 7 pages homescreen with setting themes , wallpapers , swipe effects , looping and enables landscape mode . Hold down the Home button for a while then you will be brought to the Task Manager Recent Apps as well , where you can stop all applications that are running . LG G Flex features a 3 finger gestures , to move applications quickly , swipe the phone screen using 3 fingers simultaneously.

Notification bar is very functional , but the impact was too full zoom so it seems complicated , to the extent that the notification itself is not very visible because there is at the bottom . You can choose a lot of the Quick Settings , like Qslide , WiFi , Bluetooth , and so on , the sequence can be modified freely as you like . In addition to quick setting , there is access to QSlide , brightness level settings and notification settings noise levels and call on the phone .

Performance G Flex is very smooth , thanks to a blend of 800 Snapdragon chipset and 2GB of RAM plus the screen has a resolution of only 720p . Just check the benchmark rate at the bottom of this review for more details . Settings and interface customization on any lot ( for example, you can change the size and type of font used ) as well as very functional , although seemed a bit complicated because so many features . Like the G2 , G Flex also has a Touch Button Front setting , from standard ( Back + Home + Menu ) , a la Samsung ( Menu + Home + Back ) to increase the notification pull knob or button QuickMemo access . Not only that , you can memilihlatar behind the front touch buttons , whether transparent , white or black . There are features Screen Smart and Smart Video for example , which is quite helpful as long as the front camera can capture your face . With G Flex you can also choose to have the time of Screen Capture ( hold the Lock button and Volume Down ) captured screen does not cover the notification bar area and area Front Touch Buttons .

Features QSlide and Quick Memo is always faithful present in large sail Android smartphone from LG , the G Flex is no exception . There was also the Guest Mode feature which is useful for keeping your privacy . Qslide allows total there are 3 apps running at once ( two applications minimize size , and full screen applications running in the background ) . The amount of space for each application can be changed , so did the level of transparency ( overlay functions ) . Phone performance when running Qslide function tends to remain smooth , not surprising considering the use 2GB of RAM and processor upper class in G Flex .

In addition there is now QSlide Dual Windows , which is very similar to similar features on some type of large sailing Galaxy . Activated by holding the back button for a few seconds , turn it was the same way , despite different execution views . Only a few selected applications that can fit in the dual feature of Windows.

While the Quick Memo is a feature to scribble on the screen with some type of virtual graffiti tools such as pens , markers and highlighters . Although more modest , but this feature is more practical than the Note features Samsung Galaxy Note series . Also present interesting effects such as writing on a layer of dew on the glass , and wall scribbling .

There are times when your cell phone is borrowed by friends or family. If there is something which you do not want to be seen by them , you can use this feature Guest Mode . So the phone will use the lockscreen Pattern models , but there are two Pattern that can be stored . Pattern only for your own ( everything is open as usual ) Pattern specific to one borrower . Then you can choose which applications are allowed to be seen , which again should not be seen by the borrower . The entire application on the phone can be put in the list of applications that should / should not be seen .

input Text
Default keyboard ( LG Keyboard ) filled with a lot of features , but the impact was so impressed complicated , such as the LG interface in general . Suppose one of you can press the Space key because the key size is less long . Regarding the display , you can change the themes and setting keyboard models . Keyboard and text input on the G Flex is equipped with emoji , although somewhat different shape and design of Emoji on iOS devices and apps WhatsApp , but in essence this is the same emoji . One hand typing on the LG G Flex is almost impossible to do because of the wide body . Therefore there Keyboard Split mode , and the mode of the left or right side for one-handed typing easier .

Camera and Video Recording
Equipped with a 13 megapixel sensor as G2 , is a pity LG did not equip G Flex with Optical Image Stabilization ( OIS ) as the G2 . Equipped with a 9 point focus , you can take pictures using both volume buttons , so the photograph becomes easier . There are various modes in the photograph , please complete than previous LG phones . The modes are:

Normal , Shot & Clear , Dynamic Tone ( HDR ) and Intelligent Auto
VR Panorama and Panorama
Shoot Burst , Beauty Shot , Time Catch Shot ( shooting shortly and after the shutter button is pressed , so you do not lose the moment )
dual Camera
Sport and Night

While the features and settings equally many , such as :

Cheese Shutter ( photographed using a voice command such as cheese , smile , whiskey , kimchi , LG )
brightness , setting the focus mode ( auto , manual , face tracking ) , color effects , ISO level , white balance , and resolution
timer
geotagging
Shutter sound and volume adjustment keys ( can to take photos , it could be for zooming )

The camera is surprisingly good , with noise and watercolor effects are minimal in indoor lighting . For outdoor results are clear , sharp and quite natural , but still vivid and can be enjoyed by most people . For more details download the original file at this link , or click on the photos below for a look at the gallery on Photobucket .

Although there is no OIS , but for video recording even more complete than G2 . There is a recording of 4K Ultra HD resolution ( 3840x2160 pixels ) . Full HD video recording 60 fps it was better than the G2 , because in light places less feel the benefits of this feature on the G2 ( G2 read the reviews ) , but in G Flex 60 fps video recorder is in fact the results are more visible . Allegedly the cause is no OIS on G Flex . There are several modes in video recording , among other things : Normal , Live Effects ( object reshaped into a big-eyed , big -mouthed and so on ) , Dual Recording and Tracking Zoom ( choose the most area in the viewfinder to be zoomed while recording video ) . In addition there are features Audio Zoom . When recording video you can turn on the LED lights flash on and off manually .

The results of the video recording is nice and sharp , do not be questioned because the maximum resolution of 4K (about 8megapiksel ) , where most phones currently only capable of up to 1080p ( about 2 megapixels ) . The disadvantage is the continuous autofocus response on this phone is a bit slow when you record a video . 4K video recording itself produces a file of 218MB for recording lasted 1 minute , with a 30Mbps bitrate and framerate of 30fps . Watch the video below , and select the option to watch a 4K resolution with maximum resolution . 60fps for 1080p video , as well bitratenya 30Mbps , so the results of the file is approximately equal to 4K video . Recording duration of 30 seconds produces a file of 106MB . Because Youtube can not display 60fps video ( converted to 30fps ) then we upload it on this link ( Mediafire ) .

Photo Gallery
As in the other on the Settings menu , this time also a photo gallery using a black background , not white as in the previous LG smartphones . The reason of course is the OLED display is more power efficient if the display black . Which also includes a photo gallery of this video album to use the standard Android slightly altered by LG .. Photo shared by Album , location and date of photo taking . As in the contacts and SMS , screen zooming feature is also present here , so you can vary the size of thumbnail images with pinch to zoom . You can rename files , rotate images, do cropping , perform simple editing and displays detailed pictures pretty much like camera model , focal length , ISO settings and others. Photos can instantly be shared via Bluetooth , email , social networking , and others .

Video players
Curved screen resulted in the G Flex watch the video as watching a movie, let alone the size of the screen is quite large . We tried a video titled Blue Planet IMAX and indeed deeply felt vision of excellence is on display curved G Flex . Formats supported is wide. Video 4K ( 3840x2160 pixels ) downloaded from Youtube rotated smoothly . Files . Mkv and . Mov to 1080p resolution also rotated , so does the subtitle format . Srt with some features and settings such as synchronization , font size and color .

As in the application of MX Video Player , you can adjust screen brightness while watching a video , with a vertical sweep motion . The touch screen can also be locked when playing video . Another feature , change the aspect ratio of the video and of course minimize Qslide video with features so you can watch videos while doing other activities , complete with overlay feature / setting the transparency level .

Music Player
As in G2 , LG complement G Flex with the ability to play the file . Flac with HiFi quality ( 24 bit , 192kHz ) . In addition the same look and features with the G2 , with the exception of the use of black and dark colors in the background . There are several equalizer settings , but not by genre based music and sound effects such as bass , treble and vocal only, to be more simple . Of course you can still adjust the equalizer as you like . The sound quality is something like the G2 , loudspeaker loud but not clear enough and tend to be deafening . As for the use of a headset , the sound is very high quality, with a wide soundstage and separation voice steady .

• Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP

web browsers

There are two the Chrome browser and the Internet . For the default browser ( Chrome ) there is an interesting feature that is a plus capture ( capture and store a page in image format ) . In opening the full site with lots of content such as the Home page belongs TeknoUp fast performance , almost no wait time loading content ( assuming the internet is used quickly ) and smooth , good when scrolling , pinch and zoom and others . The features and settings that are certainly not inferior to other phones , namely : incognito window , Find, share , Bookmarks , the option to always open the desktop site , save for offline reading and setting screen brightness level . Also of course there is the standard setting the cache , cookies , form data , javascript , zoom, page content , accessibility , and others.
